James' Jaunts
Well, my London schedule is fleshed out a bit more, so I thought I would share it with everyone. Or rub it in, however you want to look at it. :) Anyway, the link below opens a calendar. If you cannot open it, let me know I will try to convert it into another program.

London Alive Event I - "The River Runs Through It: London and Historic Greenwich by Boat"
The riverboat tour travels down the River Thames, past the Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, and other famous London landmarks. It ends in beautiful Greenwich, a scenic town of quaint shops, historic ships, and clock-setter to the world. By day's end, London will be seen from one of the city's most beautiful overlooks and had a picture taken with one foot in each hemisphere.

London Alive Event II - "Bloody Murder Before It Was Fashionable: Yours Truly, Jack the Ripper"
Step back in time-to the East End of London in 1888. London was horrified by a series of ghastly murders, the greatest unsolved crimes of all time. Martin Harvey, a professional story teller, leads a tour through the routes actually taken by Jack the Ripper and you stand in the very places where the murders were committed. You will be appalled at the story which unfolds before your very eyes. Be afraid-be very afraid-as you step off into the journey of mystery, imagination, and bloody murder.

London Event III - "All the World's Stage: West End London and the Theatre District"
The astonishing and exciting center of the theatre world is opened up on this walking tour of London's unparalleled west end theatre district, which takes you to where the best shows in the history of the stage have enjoyed their great runs.

    London Away: British Studies
    Summer 2007

I am a professional student.  I have a formal education--both a Bachelor and Master's degree in English, and I am working on a Master's in Library and Information Sciences.  But I believe that life experience is the greatest teacher anyone can have.  So I am hitting the road to have fun and to learn--and no, that's not mutally exclusive!--and live life to the fullest.
